During the early years, the Sports Pavilion was called Gym 1. This gym is the most commonly used by most of the athletes in DLSZ. The renovation of this gym changed the whole interior of the place and brought in new equipment as well. If you look closely you can still see the triangle shape from the end of the gym. That triangle shape is the trademark of Gym 1, which is a reminder to everyone that there is always something old in something new. Not only is this pavilion dedicated to sports but also for events like dance showcases, event launchings, masses, presentations, competitions and Fair Openings. This place can accommodate the entire grade school and high school population. The Sports Pavilion is one of the buildings that DLSZ is most proud of as it shows the great architecture and collaboration of sports and facilities in the whole gym.
This is known for the great looking basketball court which is patterned from the NBA basketball court. The Sports Pavilion also has two volleyball courts, three futsal courts, a stage, the Sports Development Office (SDO), Physical Development Office, Parents Association Office, Judo room, dance studio, table tennis room, chess room and a track oval. The Sports Pavilion showcases Lasallian pride in sports and helps develop the students camaraderie, in team works and friendly competitions.
